Buy a size larger as mentioned in other comments; I went two sizes up and it was the exact size, neither too long nor too short. The cap comes without an adjustment cord, which I think is a positive point because I find it aesthetically pleasing, but for those who use the adjustment feature, it's definitely a negative point. I found it to be an excellent product with an excellent cost-benefit ratio.
